• Any lunch day that is cancelled due to weather, class trips or any other unexpected reason will not be refunded. The money will remain as a donation to the PTO.
• Please consult the ingredients on each product prior to consuming. There could be other potential allergens not addressed in the listing. 

Pizza will be ordered from Marc's Pizza and Deli in Park Ridge.

General Information

• Who supplies the bagels? All bagels are provided and delivered by our local vendor, Marc’s Deli.
• When are bagels served? Bagels are distributed for scheduled half-day / early dismissal days.

Allergen & Dietary Information

• Are gluten-free (GF) bagels available? Yes. Marc’s Deli offers a gluten-free bagel option sourced from a specialty supplier.
• How are gluten-free bagels packaged and handled?
  • Supplier Packaging: Marc’s Deli sources gluten-free bagels from a dedicated supplier that individually packages them to minimize cross-contact.
  • Deli to School Delivery: The individually sealed bagels are delivered from the deli to the school.
  • Classroom Distribution: PTO bagel committee volunteers deliver the gluten-free bagels separately from the regular bagel bins to prevent cross-contact during classroom drop-offs.
• Is the preparation environment 100% allergen-free? Marc’s Deli is a commercial kitchen and deli, not a dedicated gluten-free facility. While care is taken to avoid cross-contamination, parents of children with severe celiac disease or life-threatening contact allergies should evaluate whether commercial deli prep meets their child’s dietary safety requirements.
• How are spreads (butter, cream cheese, etc.) handled for dietary orders? To reduce cross-contact risk and avoid mix-ups, spreads are provided on the side. Students (or classroom aides/teachers, as needed) apply their own spread.

Ordering & Logistics

• How do I specify a gluten-free bagel when placing an order? Please place your order through the standard ordering portal/form and ensure the Gluten-Free option or dietary note is selected/entered so our distribution list reflects the dietary requirement.
• How do the bagels get to my child? Orders are delivered to the school on the morning of the scheduled bagel day and sorted by classroom. PTO Bagel Committee volunteers deliver them directly to your student's homeroom prior to lunchtime/dismissal.
• Who can I contact if I have questions about ingredients or special accommodations? For general questions regarding school distribution or to confirm your child's dietary note, please contact Sofia Wahdat or Knar Petrossian (sofia.wahdat@gmail.com,  knarp@yahoo.com). For highly specific allergen, supplier, or ingredient inquiries, contact Marc’s Deli directly.​

Ice Cream Wednesdays 

Ice Cream will be sold on Wednesdays at lunch to grades 1 - 6.  

All proceeds will support fundraising efforts for WR PTO
